WHO ARE WE?

Sierra Thunder H.O.G. Folsom is a year-round riding chapter with over 140 members who share a passion for riding and most of what we do supports that interest.  Our riding events vary from small and large group rides, rallies, National H.O.G. regional and touring rallies, and weekday, weekend, overnight, and multi-day rides/events. 

While riding is the main emphasis, we also get together to help raise funds for the Forgotten Soldiers Program in Auburn by helping put on their 111 Mile Motorcycle Ride for Fallen Heroes.  This is an annual event/poker run held each October for which we plan the route, lead the ride and assist with parking and other tasks as needed.  We also attend two large Christmas Toy Runs and other local charity rides/events. 

Aside from all the riding, we also have a chapter picnic every summer and a Christmas party each December.

Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.)

H.O.G. is the official riding club of Harley-Davidson over one-million members strong, with more than 1400 chapters around the world.  H.O.G. is an organization founded and sponsored by Harley-Davidson Motor Company.  Established to offer motorcycling benefits and services to Harley-Davidson enthusiasts throughout the world, and develop a closer relationship between the Harley-Davidson rider, the Harley-Davidson dealership, and Harley-Davidson Motor Company.  

Each chapter is sponsored by a Harley-Davidson dealership.  It is offered to bring members together for the common interest of promoting motorcycling activities.  The intent of the Chapter is to “Ride and Have Fun” with like-minded individuals who have a passion for riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

HOW TO BECOME A SIERRA THUNDER H.O.G. MEMBER

All Harley-Davidson owners/riders are welcome to join Sierra Thunder H.O.G Folsom Chapter.

First and foremost, you must be an active national HOG member.  You can join the National Harley Owners Group at: Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) | Harley-Davidson USA.

To become a Chapter member, we welcome you to attend one of our Chapter Meetings, email us or join us on a ride.  If interested, you’ll just need to complete a Chapter Enrollment form and pay the membership fee, $35 renewable annually in January.

Chapter Charter & Handbook

The Chapter Charter is the document that establishes Sierra Thunder Folsom Chapter #1787 as a Chapter of Harley Owners Group.  It serves as the Chapter Bylaws, and we are bound to uphold this Chapter Charter.   Download the Chapter Charter

MEMBER ACCESS

When you become a member of Sierra Thunder, you will be eligible to be a member of our meetup group where you can sign up for rides, post pictures of rides, and leave comments on specific rides.
